Blackjack Is Like A Wild Ride

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a roller coaster. Blackjack is a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gets faster. As you build up your bankroll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so much like a roller coaster the similarities are alarming. As is the case with the popular fair ground experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for a while before it bottoms out once again. You have to be a bettor who can readjust to the ups … downs of the game because the game of black jack is full of them.

If you like the petite coaster, one that won’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a fatter wager, then jump aboard for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not thinking on the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you do not, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your cash was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride and your head in the sky. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t recount how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that disastrous drop as clear as day.
